A new group called the Peterson-Pew Commission on Budget Reform released a report on the federal debt and looked at ways to change the budget process. The commission includes several former members of Congress and two former directors of the Office of Management and Budget. The group is a joint venture of the Peter G. Peterson, Foundation, the Pew Charitable Trusts, and the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget.
