Leslie Sanchez talked about her book You’ve Come A Long Way, Maybe: Sarah, Michelle, Hillary and the Shaping of the New American Woman (Palgrave Macmillan; October 13, 2009). She spent much of the 2008 presidential election cycle as an analyst for CNN, examining and investigating that historic moment for women and politics. She examined the media treatment of women candidates and what the election shows for the future in politics, and the women currently prominent in politics. Leslie Sanchez is a Republican strategist and former adviser to President George W. Bush, and founder and CEO of Impacto Group.
