Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack talked about the “Household Food Security in the U.S.” report. The report found that in 2008, 17 million households had food “insecurity” and experienced difficulty putting enough food on the table. That number is up from 13 million households in 2007. Mr. Vilsack responded to telephone calls and electronic communications.
