Chick-fil-A, Inc. founder, chairman, and president Truett Cathy and his son, Chick-fil-A president and chief operating officer Dan Cathy, spoke about the success and continued growth of their fast food business without debt or layoffs in a troubled economy. Recognized for its “Eat Mor Chickin” ad campaign, Chick-fil-A is credited with inventing the first fast-food chicken sandwich. They talked about their focus on their own people and on hospitality and customer service. They also responded to questions submitted from the audience.
