A panel discussion was held on how the Internet has affected the cultural conversation. Topics included using technology rather than hard copy, various digital divides, the fragmenting of the American attention span, and how a daily regime of writing electronic communications effects reading patterns. They responded to questions from members of the audience. The discussion was moderated by Maud Newton.
