Allison Bartlett talked about her book The Man Who Loved Books Too Much: The True Story of a Thief, a Detective, and a World of Literary Obsession (Riverhead Hardcover; September 17, 2009). In her book she tells the story of John Charles Gilkey, who stole hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of books, and the rare book dealer who tracked him down and brought him to justice. She responded to questions from members of the audience.
