Norman Podhoretz talked about his book Why Are Jews Liberals? (Doubleday; September 8, 2009). In his book the former editor-in-chief of Commentary magazine attempts to answer the question that he says he has been asked more often than any other during four decades in journalism: why are Jews liberals? He talked about the evolution of liberalism and the changing socio-economic-political positions of Jews in America, including the changing of anti-Semitism into anti-Zionism. Mr. Podhoretz also responded to questions from members of the audience.
