Michael Wallace is the co-author of the Pulitzer Prize-winning bok Gotham: A History of New York City to 1898. Mike Wallace is a distinguished professor of history at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, part of the City University of New. York, where he founded the Gotham Center for New York City History. His most recent book, A New Deal for New York, examines the future of post-September 11 New York City in the light of its past.
