Stephen Meyer talked about his book Signature in the Cell: DNA and the Evidence for Intelligent Design (HarperOne; June 23, 2009). In a talk illustrated by slides, Stephen Meyer countered the legacy of Charles Darwin and argued that DNA provides evidence of an intelligent designer and helps explain how life began. He also responded to questions from members of the audience. This book release party was hosted by the Discovery Institute at 7 p.m., July 21, 2009, at Plestcheeff Auditorium in the Seattle Art Museum. Stephen Meyer is director of the Center for Science and Culture at the Discovery Institute. His books include Explore Evolution: The Arguments for and Against Neo-Darwinism and Darwinism, Design, and Public Education.
