Michael Rothfeld talked about the recent budget agreement reached between Governor Schwarzenegger and California state legislators to close California’s $26.3 billion deficit. Topics included the impact on social services, taxes for residents, lessons for other states, and plans for next year. Mr Rothfeld responded to telephone calls, electronic correspondence, and questions from middle school students. The students participated via Skype from the C-SPAN Civics Bus in Philadelphia.
