James Lewis talked about the vulnerability of U.S. computer systems to “cyber attacks” after U.S and South Korean computers were hit by a series of attacks on both government and commercial websites. He also discussed the federal government’s role in protecting sensitive systems. Mr. Lewis leads the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) Commission on Cybersecurity for the 44th Presidency, which released its final report, “Securing Cyberspace for the 44th Presidency” on December 8, 2008.
