Morris Dees of the Southern Poverty Law Center delivered remarks on the recent upsurge in hate crimes and extremist activities including a recent the attack at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum. He talked about his group’s legal efforts to hold certain groups accountable for violent acts committed by their members. Following his remarks he answered questions submitted by members of the audience.
