Secretary Clinton briefed reporters and answered questions on humanitarian aid to Pakistan. She announced that the U.S. intended to provide $110 million in aid as part of the administration’s new strategy for countering Taliban militants. She also talked about the refugee crisis in which about 2 million Pakistanis have fled fighting in the country’s Swat Valley and are living in tent cities.
