President Obama made remarks on the importance of maintaining scientific integrity in health research before signing an Executive Order that rescinds the ban on federal funding of research using stem cells. It lifts restrictions imposed by the Bush Administration. The president also signed a Presidential Memorandum on scientific integrity.
