Vice President Joe Biden convened the first meeting of the Middle Class Task Force, with a focus on a green jobs as a pathway to a strong middle class. Panelists focused on provisions of an economic recovery and stimulus package which could assist in such efforts, long and short term benefits to communities and states of investments in environmental programs and technology, as well as worker training and educational investment.
