Sandra Herbert is a Professor Emerita at the University of Maryland - Baltimore County. During 2006 and 2007 she was a distinguished visiting scholar at Christ’s College in Cambridge, where she assisted the university with its plans to celebrate Darwin’s bicentennial. Professor Herbert’s books include The Red Notebook of Charles Darwin and Charles Darwin’s Notebooks, 1836-1844.
