Officials and inspectors from the Iraq Reconstruction Management Office testified at a public hearing about an investigation of practices and procedures used in public contracts awarded to private companies. They spoke about the administration of contracts and publicly-funded infrastructure projects, allegations of fraud and waste, as well as U.S. government oversight of the contracts.
