A panel of civic leaders and historians talked with a diverse audience about racial divisions past and present, impediments to economic opportunity, and how President Abraham Lincoln's legacy can shed light on the ongoing effort to unify the nation's people. Charles Branham moderated "The American Dream" meeting in the College Union Ballroom at Gettysburg College was the first of ten national town hall meetings called "Lincoln's Legacy: Race, Freedom and Equality of Opportunity," scheduled by the Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial Commission.
