President and Mrs. Bush attended Veterans Day ceremonies at the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum at Pier 86 in New York City. The event was part of the museum’s re-opening weekend ceremonies. In his final Veterans Day remarks as president, he thanked veterans and military personnel for their faithful service and said that he would most miss his role as commander-in-chief of the military following his presidency.
