The U.S. Chamber of Commerce held a discussion of the 2008 election with Stu Rothenberg and Charlie Cook, who were introduced with a video. Topics included the state of the Republican party, Senator Obama’s campaign, the “honeymoon” period of the Obama Administration, 2004 exit polls versus 2008 exit polls, analysis of voter demographics, and media influence. Following their remarks, Mr. Rothenberg and Mr. Cook responded to questions from the audience. Mark French moderated. close
