Maya Angelou talked about Letter to My Daughter (Random House, 2008). Her first collection of essays in ten years, they range from the personal to the inspirational. She spoke about why she addressed these thoughts to a daughter she does not have. Ms. Angelou spoke about raising her son, her life, her support of Senator Hillary Clinton in the 2008 presidential election, and other topics. Ms. Angelou spoke with Patricia Cohen on stage. She also responded to audience members' questions.
