Alexander Heffner talked about issues in the 2008 presidential race of concern to voters under 30, mobilization and get-out-the-vote efforts among younger and first-time voters, and student and youth reaction to Senators Obama and McCain, and third-party candidates. He is the co-founder and editor of an online national student newspaper, at Scoop08.com, which is dedicated to coverage of the 2008 presidential election and focuses on the concerns of young people in an effort to engage them the presidential election. He is also the political director of WHRB 95.3 FM- Harvard University Radio. Mr. Heffner is a college freshman and a first-time voter.
