Republican and Democratic Party leaders and proponents debated the topic: "Election 2008: Which Party Is Best Suited to Lead America?" Each participant delivered an opening statement and discussion was augmented by questions from the audience. Among the topics they addressed were the state of the economy, tax policy and federal spending, national security, and leadership issues.
