In a series on state ballot initiatives, guests spoke about measures dealing with abortion and specifically Colorado's Amendment 48, known as the "personhood" amendment. It defines the term "person" to "include any human being from the moment of fertilization." There was also a measure on the ballot in South Dakota, measure 11 that bans abortion, with exceptions for rape and the health of the mother. Crystal Clinkenbeard who opposes Amendment 48 and Bob Enyart, who supports the amendment, spoke about the campaign in Colorado and responded to telephone calls and electronic mail.
