Dan Rather, representatives from the Associated Press (AP) and the New York Times, and a journalism professor participated in a panel discussion on the future of journalism. Topics included the increasing reliance on AP stories, the decline of network news, the commitment of ownership to public interest, bloggers, and the difference in media coverage between the 2008 election and previous elections. Panelists responded to audience members' questions following their remarks. Gil Klein moderated.
