Filmmaker and author Michael Moore talked about his book Mike’s Election Guide 2008 (Grand Central Publishing; August 26, 2008). He presented his thoughts on the 2008 U.S. presidential election. Mr. Moore provided a proposal to repair what he deems are broken elections, articles for the impeachment of President George W. Bush, and decrees for Barack Obama to enact if elected president. In his irreverent presentation he bemoaned the Bush administration and well as the Republican candidates and stongly encouraged youths to vote in the upcoming election. This event was hosted by the Michigan Theater in Ann Arbor, Michigan, before a free premiere of Michael Moor’s new film Slacker Uprising.

Michael Moore is the author of numerous books, including Dude Where’s My Country and Stupid White Men. Mr. Moore is also a documentarian whose films include Fahrenheit 9/11 and Roger and Me. close
