Michael Rosenblum talked about the intersection of newspapers and the television industry with video journalism and the Internet. Mr. Rosenblum believes that television is at a crossroads and that the dominance of the major television networks is dying. Through his company, Rosenblum Associates, he runs a boot camp where he teaches journalists to shoot, edit, write, and produce their own content with the use of small digital cameras and laptop editing. Mr. Rosenblum talked about his life and career. He has worked with the BBC, KGTV, KRON, the Discovery Channel, and other outlets to bring about his goal of “democratization” of television and he also designed Al Gore’s Current TV. Mr. Rosenblum also discussed the video presentations of the presidential candidates. close
