In 2005, C-SPAN cameras went to Walter Reed Hospital to interview four returning Iraq war soldiers. Each of the soldiers had lost an appendage; some were double amputees. Earlier this year, C-SPAN located all four veterans and traveled to their homes to interview them again. This series is a side-by-side comparison of these two interviews. It details how the soldiers lives, attitudes, and opinions have changed. Connie Doebele gave a preview of the series “Three Years Later: Conversations with Iraq War Veterans.” The series airs Monday - Thursday, August 11-14 at 8pm ET on C-SPAN.
