Will Swift talked about his booik The Kennedys Amidst the Gathering Storm: A Thousand Days in London, 1938-1940 (Collins; April 29, 2008). In his book Will Swift recounts the U.S. ambassadorship of Joseph Kennedy to Britain from 1938 to 1940. Mr. Swift details the relationships between Kennedy and Franklin D. Roosevelt, Neville Chamberlain, and Winston Churchill. Following his remarks Mr. Swift responded to questions from the audience.
