Participants spoke about the political climate in Washington, DC and possibilities for changing “business-as-usual” attitudes about public policy making in Washington. Among the issues they addressed were the influence of money and lobbying in the legislative process, political campaigns, and the need for reform. They also answered questions from the audience.
