Ms. Barratt-Brown and Mr. Train discussed the preparations and expectations for the United Nations Conference on the Environment and Development, beginning June 3, 1992, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The conference, commonly known as the Earth Summit, will bring together leaders from many industrial and third world nations, including the U.S., to discuss global environmental issues including global warming and industrial pollution production.
