Dr. Conley received national attention last summer when she resigned from her position as professor of neurosurgery at Stanford University. At the time Dr. Conley said she was tired of what she described as the Medical School’s sexist environment. She withdrew her resignation in September and has since written about her experiences and spoken out about the issue of sexual harassment. Dr. Conley spoke on the incidence of sexual harassment in the medical community.
