First Lady Laura Bush delivered remarks at a ceremony at the White House
marking World Refugee Day. The event included speeches by refugees from
Myanmar (also known as Burma), Iraq, and the Democratic Republic of Congo. According to the
U.N. there are at least 14 million refugees in the world today.
