A panel discussed the job market for young adults, comparing the wages, job security, unionization and benefits of the jobs available now to previous generations. Topics included strategies for improving job quality, such as living wage laws, career ladder and green job programs, traditional unionization and alternative organizing strategies including worker centers. After their discussion, panelists responded to audience members' questions. This panel titled "Paycheck Politics" was part of a day-long forum "A Better Deal: Reclaiming Economic Security for a New Generation."
