Colman McCarthy talked about his career and experiences in education and teaching peace. He teaches peace studies at colleges and high schools in the Washington, D.C., area including Georgetown University Law School, American University, Wilson High School, and Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School. He has authored many books including I'd Rather Teach Peace; All of One Peace: Essays on Nonviolence; and one coming out during the summer on animal rights. From 1969 to 1997, he was a syndicated columnist for the Washington Post. His articles have also appeared in The New Yorker, New Republic, National Catholic Reporter, and others.
