A panel discussion was held on the status of U.S. efforts in Iraq. Topics included the readiness of Iraqi soldiers to take over security operations, the situation in Basra, and how U.S. policy toward Iraq will change as a result of the upcoming U.S. elections. The panelists responded to questions from members of the audience. Bob Schieffer moderated.
