A panel discussion was held on the crisis in Pakistan and the implications for United States foreign policy. Topics included the history of U.S. policy toward Pakistan, reasons why counter-terrorism activity in Pakistan is not working as well as anticipated, and tensions between Pakistan and India. Discussion primarily centered on the Pakistani military situation. Following the discussion panelists answered questions from members of the audience.
