Panelists talked about applications of international law in the 21st century. Among the topics they addressed were the laws of armed conflict, challenges to traditional concepts of warfare posed by international terrorism, the relevance and application of the Geneva Conventions, and questions arising from operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. They also responded to questions from the audience.
