Shannon Brownlee talked about her book Overtreated: Why Too Much Medicine Is Making Us Sicker and Poorer, published by Bloomsbury USA. In her book she argues that American’s are medically over treated and suggests that the current course of treatment is not only scientifically unsound and a great waste of resources, but responsible for patient deaths.
