Bruce Miroff talked about his book,The Liberals' Moment: The McGovern Insurgency and the Identity Crisis of the Democratic Party, published by the University Press of Kansas. In his book Mr. Miroff documents the failed McGovern presidential campaign of 1972 and its profound effects on the composition of the liberal movement and the democratic party. Following his presentation Mr. Miroff responded to various questions from the audience.
