Panel members discussed the successes, continued challenges, and emerging issues faced by women in the legal profession. Topics included whether women read the Constitution differently than men, the existence of a woman’s form of “justice,” the unintended consequences of women’s equality as shaped by the law, and reasons why women have advanced more quickly and farther than blacks. The panelists responded to questions from members of the audience following the program. Lynn Scherr moderated.
