The National Urban League released their annual “State of Black America” report. Former Mayor Marc Morial talked about statistics that show disparities between blacks and whites across five categories: economics, education, health, civic engagement and social justice. The report reviewed several issues such as sub-prime lending which indicate challenging times ahead for blacks, particularly black women.
