Freelance journalist Doug Grindle was embedded with the U.S. Army National Guard, 147th Air Assault Battalion, in Iraq during the month of February 2008. He accompanied the 147th as they provided troop and VIP transport to various locations in Iraq. Captian Marc Rassler, Chief Warrant Officer Teresa Burgess, Sergeant Donald Scofield, Lt. Colonel Gregory Thingvold, Specialist Robert Jones, Sergeant Christopher Pacheco, 1st Sergeant Lawrence Mochizuki, Sergeant Frank Degele, Captain Phoebe Inigo, Sergeant Mike Bergin, and Chief Warrant Officer Clarence Kanae were interviewed.
