House Republican leaders talked with reporters about the vote to sustain the president’s veto of H.R. 976, the Children’s Health Insurance Program Reauthorization Act of 2007. They noted the weaknesses of the legislation that caused it to be vetoed, including coverage of adults instead of just children.
