Janks Morton talked about his film, What Black Men Think. In the film he interviewed African American journalists, authors, and scholars on the role of black men in society and how they are portrayed in the media. He also did person-on-the-street interviews. He said his purpose was to show the changes in black families over the last 40 years, including higher divorce rates, single rates, and out-of-wedlock births. He asked the interviewees how they felt about their circumstances and what solutions they suggested. He also talked about racial stereotypes in U.S. media.
