Mr. Forbes praised Bob Dole' economic proposal which he argued would help the economy grow at a much faster rate than at present. He also criticized President Clinton for defending the status quo and for characterizing the economy in such a positive light. After his remarks, he took questions from the audience and also talked briefly with reporters.
