Mr. Walcott speculated about the upcoming presidential and congressional elections and discussed the polls which are attempting to predict the outcomes. He mentioned that early on the presidential race looked interesting in that President Clinton looked vulnerable and that the issues confronting the Congressional races were fairly black and white. Now it looked like Clinton was leading with his move to center and the economy doing well. He took questions from the audience. close
