Vanderbilt alumnus and Nobel Peace Prize laureate Muhammad Yunus delivered the Senior Class Day address on the Alumni Lawn of Vanderbilt University. Mr. Yunus is a Bangladeshi banker and economist. He founded and developed the concept of microcredit, the extension of small loans to entrepreneurs too poor to qualify for traditional bank loans. He detailed many of the success stories from his enterprise.
