Borzou Daragahi was interviewed about his travels in Iraq as a correspondent for the Los Angeles Times and how he managed to survive both mentally and physically. He was born in Tehran and talked about growing up in the U.S. and returning to the Middle East as a journalist. Topics included his and his wife’s experiences in Iraq, which parts of it are less dangerous, numbers of Iraqis and Americans being killed, differences between living in Iran and Iraq, and experiences going on patrol with a U.S. military unit. close
