Kaitlyn Pingleton talked by telephone about the third prize-winning video, The Marriage Bill SJR7, which she produced with Latisha Burks. 

C-SPAN Classroom’s StudentCam video documentary contest was a national competition in which middle and high school students produced a documentary exploring a current political topic using some C-SPAN footage and covering multiple viewpoints. Pingleton and Burks are 8th grade students at Lora Batchelor Middle School in Bloomington, Indiana. The local cable company was Insight Communication.
